JUNE 9TH, 2024

shoreline &
underwater clean-up

On June 9th, join us for an exciting and meaningful shoreline cleanup and dive against debris event at the historic site of Africville Park. This cleanup is a collaborative endeavour, hosted by Ocean Week Halifax, Mind Your Plastic, Torpedo Rays Scuba, Sustainable Ocean Conference, and Africville Heritage Trust.

During this event, participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the preservation of the local marine environment by removing debris and litter from both the shoreline, and underwater. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the ocean and coastlines while promoting sustainable practices. Let;s help end plastic pollution in Canada. We can all be part of the solution!
